CABOCHON Definition

The term 'cabochon' simply refers to a smooth, non-faceted stone, most typically with a flat back and oval in shape. They may be either natural gemstones or man-made. Due to the large variance in materials, the Moh's hardness of each cabochon will vary. As our cabochons are either handmade or made by mother nature, each one is one-of-a-kind, and color & pattern variation is to be expected.
