We’ve been using a 1/2 inch ice caves collar for over a year now, and the collar has been holding up great! It is easy to clean, obviously durable, and Roofy doesn’t complain about it.
The brass hardware has held up well and has some gorgeous patina to it, though I can’t get the right lighting to show it off in a photo.
I changed my mind on the sizing after I put the order in, and Laura herself reached out to suggest a custom sizing. She was professional, thoughtful, and skilled.
I’m astounded that the collar has survived the rigors of a young outdoor cat, and if I ever needed another collar there is no doubt I’d go to Sloppy Chops Co.

i have a sphynx, so naturally he is *very oily* - biothane is the only way for us to go. that being said, this collar has been the only biothane one sturdy enough that we’ve found so far. the little bell has to be my favorite! it stands up to my cat dunking it in his water bowl & raw food day after day. looks brand new each night after i wash it down!

Long lasting
This is my 4th cat collar purchase for SloppyChopsCo and I will continue purchasing! Normal fabric collars get all frayed looking within a few weeks of wear but these don’t! If you purchase one of these you will have it for years! The safety release is also a must. Thankfully my cats have never been in the position where the collar has had to break but knowing it will if something were to happen is very nice.

I have always loved the look of buckle collars on my kitty but she has had multiple times when she has gotten stuck or had to slip out of her collar. I love the idea of the safety release which lets her look her best and gives me the peace of mind that she will be able to break out of it if she needs to!

Great collar
I thought the collar would be too stiff at first, but once it warmed up (delivered on a cold day) it was totally fine. Our cat had never worn a collar before and after maybe a minute of having it on he completely forgot it was there. It is a true olive color and very pretty. Also a plus that we are able to shop local, will be ordering collars for our dogs next.

Very nice basic, yet beautiful, collar for my kitty. The copper river color with brass hardware looks very nice with his orange fur. It is a very durable fabric that should last forever, unlike his previous fabric collars which fray and fade over time. I also love the safety release feature in case anything ever happens.

This collar is perfect for my dog! It's been worn in sea water countless times and still looks incredible. I love that there's a bell so I always know where my Erie is without having to look around as much and it doesn't have a normal bell sound so I can differentiate her from other bell wearing animals.
It's so well made, I have no question that it will hold up against whatever is thrown at it. I also really love the hardware, it's so dinky and cute and the rounded edges are perfect!

This is my first purchase from Sloppy Chops Co, and we are 100% satisfied! It got here quick, is absolutely gorgeous, and looks beautiful on my kitty, The collar is clearly well made, and sturdy. I don't have to worry about Mocha shredding this one as she does with many fabric collars. The hardware is great quality compared to others I've seen. Will definitely recommend to a friend, and we will most definitely be purchasing from them again. I already have my eye on a few things for the pups (and possibly another kitty collar!!)

Perfect for the littles!
We have tried multiple boutique collars over the years (including Biothane) for our little dogs, but none of them offered appealing 1/2" options until Sloppy Chops Co. We just received our first Katmai collars today and I am over the MOON with how amazing these turned out. Now we can have peace of mind that our littles' necks are not being unnecessarily weighed down AND they can have unlimited fun on our adventures without the worry of dirty, messy collars. This is my second Katmai collar from SCC, and we are waiting on a Denali dog collar with plans to soon order a leash, as well. Biothane is a godsave for cats who shred collars made from other fabrics (call out post @ my boys) and the hardware is such great quality compared to other biothane gear sellers I’ve seen. Looks so classy
Bought this for my indoor-outdoor cat, after she shredded two nylon collars by scratching at it. She doesn’t scratch at this collar, and after several months it still looks brand new. It looks so classy and sophisticated, and I can assume it’s comfortable because she doesn’t scratch at it at all.
