CABOCHON Maintenance

For general maintenance, you may use a dry, lint-free cloth to lightly polish the cabochons and fancy ovals. For a deeper cleaning, use a soft bristle tooth brush and clean in a gentle circular motion. Do not brush aggressively or use this method regularly, as you may scratch the cabochons/fancy ovals.

To keep your collar looking its best, we do not recommend that collars adorned with cabochons be allowed exposure to chlorinated, salt or brackish water. We also do not recommend prolonged exposure to direct sunlight for natural gemstones, as this may cause the color to fade or change. The use of harsh household cleaners and chemical should also be avoided on cabochons.

For fancy oval crystals, we do not recommend allowing water exposure as it can potentially cause discoloration and loss of brilliance.
