The Denali SimpleLead was developed alongside experienced service dog handlers and trainers who wanted a leash that balanced versatility with simplicity. The result is a thoughtfully designed everyday leash that adapts to a wide variety of situations while remaining intuitive to use.
Built on the same foundation as our Denali EuroLead™, the SimpleLead features a streamlined configuration with fewer connection points, making it an excellent choice for handlers who prefer a clean, uncomplicated design.
SimpleLead vs. EuroLead
If you're deciding between the two, here's the easiest way to think about it:
The Denali SimpleLead is our streamlined option. It offers the versatility most handlers need with a simplified design and fewer connection points.
The Denali EuroLead is our most versatile leash. With additional attachment points throughout the leash, it offers more carrying configurations and the ability to perform multiple functions at once. If you're looking for one leash that can adapt to virtually any situation, the EuroLead is the better choice.
If your goal is an exceptionally functional everyday leash without unnecessary complexity, the SimpleLead was designed for you.
Available in 5-foot and 6-foot lengths, every Denali SimpleLead features a snap on each end, a stationary D-ring, and your choice of adjustable stopper system.
Those simple components allow one leash to perform a surprising number of jobs:
- Standard 5' or 6' everyday leash
- 2.5' or 3' traffic lead by clipping one snap to the stationary D-ring
- Temporary hitching post by wrapping the leash around a secure object
- Dual-control lead by attaching one end to a harness and the other to a collar*
- Two-dog coupler by attaching a second leash to the adjustable O-ring*
Choose the 6-foot version and, for most handlers, you'll also be able to wear it hands-free around your waist or across your shoulder, keeping your hands free without sacrificing control. (The 5-foot length is not recommended for hands-free use.)

Hardware Notes
Leashes ordered with an Autolocking Carabiner will be built with silver screws and D-rings for maximum durability. If you'd prefer a different hardware finish, simply leave a note at checkout. Please note that all carabiners will retain their black-and-silver finish as shown.
