Our Competition / Tracking & Lightweight Leash is designed for handlers who need performance without bulk. Made from the same rugged, low-maintenance material as our Denali Traditional Leash, this version is slimmer and lighter, making it especially well-suited for long lines, training, and distance work.
WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT:
• Ultra-Lightweight Performance: 1/2" wide and just 2mm thick, this leash weighs significantly less than our Traditional Denali. The difference is most noticeable in longer lengths, where reduced drag minimizes fatigue for both dog and handler.
• Moves With You: Unobtrusive and flexible, this leash supports smooth handling. Ideal for rally and obedience where the leash should work with you, not against you.
• Designed for Distance Work: Well-suited for tracking and scentwork training and trials when you need to stay connected without excess weight trailing behind your dog.
• Artisanal Quality: Each leash is made-to-order with care and comes standard with a tasteful, permanent shop inscription.
• Built to Last:This leash is backed by our Lifetime Guarantee.
HANDLE & CONFIGURATION OPTIONS:
• Traditional Looped Handle for everyday training and general use
• Drag Line with a clean-cut end to reduce snagging in brush
• Snap on Each End with Dual O-Ring Stoppers ideal for adjustable, multipurpose long-line use
PLEASE NOTE (Hardware & Custom Options):
• Autolocking carabiners will always have a black and silver finish and come standard with silver hardware accents, including screws and D-rings, for durability.
• In an effort to keep these leashes as lightweight as possible, D-rings do not come standard on Competition Leashes.
• Long line leashes are not designed to be used as tie-out gear. Damage caused by tethering a dog will not be covered under warranty. We do not recommend tethering due to the increased risk of loss, equipment damage, and injury. If you plan to tether your dog, please purchase equipment specifically designed for that purpose.
• Slip leads are only available when paired with Traditional Loop Handles or Drag Lines.
• For convertible leashes and slip leads, stopper color will match your chosen leash color unless otherwise specified in the Special Instructions.
