Long lines are perfect for tracking, working on recalls, and giving your dog additional freedom on walks while still retaining control. All long lines will come standard with a wrap for tangle-free storage of your leash.
Long lines in this listing are crafted from 5/8" wide webbing. After rigorous testing, all of our product testers (XXL to medium) have agreed that the 5/8" width is the perfect size to comfortably hold in your hand, but also has enough heft to not feel flimsy, and enough strength to hold up to even the most aggressive pullers. If you are looking for an extra light-weight longline, we recommend our Competition/Tracking Long Lines or Rolled Biothane Long Lines.
You are welcome to select the style of handle on your leash. We offer traditional looped handles, drag lines (leash will have a cut end to reduce becoming entangled in brush), and no handle but a snap on each end with a dual o-ring stopper (popular for those in search of an adjustable multipurpose long line).
If you are interested in a making your leash a slip lead or having a convertible upgrade, please visit our Leash Upgrades section.
Not sure which hardware to choose? Visit our blog post here.
Please note:
- Unless otherwise instructed, all orders which select an Autolocking Carabiner for their snap will be made with SILVER hardware for the screws, d-rings, etc., because of its durability. If you would prefer a different hardware finish for your screws and d-rings on a leash with an autolocking carabiner, you may leave an Order Note at checkout. Regardless of notes, all carabiners will still have a black and silver finish as pictured in the product listing.
- The standard design of our long lines (10ft and greater)does not include d-rings in order to minimize distractions.
- Our long line leashes are not designed to be used as ‘tie out’ gear. Damage caused by using any of our products to tether a dog will not be covered under warranty. We don’t recommend tethering a dog due to excessive risk of loss, damage and injury. If you are planning on tying your dog to an outdoor line, please be sure to purchase items from a manufacturer that designs products specifically for that purpose.
Because we care about the small details, every leash also comes permanently & tastefully inscribed with the shop name on the underside of leash; so you don't always have to tell the whole world where you got your lead from, but you'll know you bought quality, artisanal goods.
